The eJuices.co team is hoping you and your business are doing well. One thing we have focused on is the status of vaping regulations and legislation on flavor bans in the present, but what about the future of vaping? What could vaping look like a year from now, five years from now, 10 years from now?
The eJuices.co team found an interesting article that specifically mentions a protective suit that people could wear at concerts, nightclubs, or mass gatherings of any sort. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the idea of any sort of mass gathering has been shelved indefinitely—that means no going to your favorite band’s concerts and no nights out with your friends at clubs or bars. It is estimated that concerts, another venue for vaping, may not come back until at least fall 2021, although that deadline can be pushed further out. But from a business perspective, Production Club has sought to at least bring some sort of normalcy back to society through the Micrashell.
The Vaping Suit: Vaping In A Post-COVID-19 World
What does this have to do with vaping, you might ask? The Micrashell has a snap-in canister for vaping (and another for drinking, although it is unknown if you could use both canisters for vaping; we’d like to know more ourselves). According to Miguel “Mike 808” Risueno, head of inventions at Production Club, “It’s a half suit that kind of takes your safety and your security in terms of being close to airborne particles or viruses to the next level. We need to make sure that people want to wear it and they feel good about wearing it. So it’s a little bit more of a fashion piece rather than something that looks like a medical device.”
If the Micrashell does take off, it may change the literal state of vape forever. The COVID-19 pandemic and the act of vaping have been on a collision course for a couple of months now. This astronaut-looking suit seeks to be the proverbial peace treaty between vaping and COVID-19. It brings vaping into your own personal space and even creates a fashion statement at the same time. After all, the eJuices.co team believes that vaping is largely a personal experience, and you can do whatever you like with it.
As you can see on the suit itself on the website, the vaping is in canister form, which might allow eJuice manufacturers and wholesalers like eJuices.co to experiment with a new method of storing vape juice. This could also open up an avenue for vape hardware manufacturers to invent their own version of a vaping suit (although vaping is just one of the functions on the Micrashell and not the primary function of the suit itself). In turn, you can also diversify your business beyond having apparel with just vaping manufacturers’ logos on it.
While this is intended to be rented at nightclubs and other venues where mass gatherings take place, we can see some potential for it being not only a new vaping experience but also drive innovations in vaping hardware beyond the usual top-fill systems, disposables, and vape pens.
We’d like to hear what you think about such an innovation for the vaping industry. Would you sell the Micrashell in your shop? What about using plug-in canisters for a brand new vaping experience? You can always contact your eJuices.co account manager or sales representative. We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
