Every vaper knows certain facts about their favorite past time. It's new, tech-savvy, flavorful and being picked up by many people over the age of 21. The market can range from a young cloud-blower to older folks who are trying to make the transition to vaping. It's a community that brings people together. As a result, our vapor or “clouds” should be less of a nuisance than other things floating around in the air. That said, we may feel we should be able to vape anywhere. Is that correct, though?
Choosing the Right Time and Place
Being aware of when and where you are when you vape is most important in the workplace. Common areas such as break and conference rooms are not appropriate places since there are non-vaping people that use those rooms as well.
- Being respectful of non-vapers: You should always assume that isn’t appropriate to vape in a non-vaper’s office until they have said otherwise. If a non-vaper asks you to stop or not vape around them you should respect that request.
- Keeping your clouds to a minimum: Though it can be fun to throw big clouds, the office isn’t the appropriate place for that. You should keep you clouds to a minimum especially while walking through the office and hallways.
- Time management and vaping: When you need to change your coil, changing your battery and/or adding juice, you should use your time wisely. These things should be done during your break(s) instead of using your productive work time for that.
In any case, try to be as cognizant of the people around you as possible. While vaping is certainly a wonderful thing to transition to, it's important to keep in mind that not everyone appreciates/understands vaping/vapor and may feel uncomfortable if you're blowing large clouds in their space, or even a shared, communal space.
